Every day the Chef walks food lovers through the history of a local community dish. The Railway Mutton Curry is a star attraction! Some of Kerala’s iconic landmarks are in close proximity. Jew town with its Synagogue shares its boundary wall with the palace of the Cochin Royal Family. The palace known as Mattancherry Palace or Dutch Palace is now a museum exhibiting artifacts belonging to the royal family, old city and street maps from the Dutch period and some exquisite murals on its walls. The spice streets and warehouses still buzz with activity during the day. The Church of the Leaning Cross which is where the local St. Thomas Christians revolted against the Portuguese imposing their Christian traditions on them. The art galleries, restaurants and cafes along the harbor.
