Ross Island of Andaman and Nicobar Islands is spread over an area of 0.6 square kilometers and is approachable through ship from Port Blair to Phoenix Bay jetty. It was titled as the "Paris of the East". It is thickly covered by a wide range of fauna and flora. This island had been the administrative headquarters of Britishers at some point of time. Now-a-days, Ross Island at Andaman and Nicobar Islands is under the supervision of the Navy.
