Passing through some of the highest passes in the world, this Srinagar to Manali road trip makes you see contrasting, yet equally beautiful landscapes of different Himalayan valleys.   • Enjoy Shikara ride at Dal lake, Srinagar and stay overnight at Houseboat
  • Drive to Kargil via Sonmarg, Zoji La and Drass - the second coldest inhabited place on earth after Siberia
  • Drive to Uley Topkyo and cross the Fotu La, which is the highest pass on the Leh – Srinagar road
  • Proceed for Aryan Valley. There are many small villages and Dha and Hanu are open for tourists where you visit monastic complexes
  • Discover the monasteries of Indus Valley including Thiksey, Shey, Stok & Matho. Spend the evening discovering the local culture of Leh
  • Leave Leh in the morning, en route visiting Shey Palace to reach Thiksey. Reach Pangong by crossing the third highest motor able pass (Changla) on earth
  • Depart for Leh en route visit Hemis Gompa, the largest monastery in Leh
  • Drive towards Nubra Valley and enroute you traverse the highest motorable road on earth (Khardungla Pass, 18384 feet)
  • Drive to Hunder, where you come across sand dunes besides the road and have an opportunity to ride the double humped Bactrian camels on this high altitude desert
  • Cross the high altitude passes of Baralachala & Lachangla, Tanglalng la as you start ascending from the Indus Valley
  • Leave for Manali (5-6 hours drive via Rohtang Pass), where landscape changes from arid & rugged to lush green Manali side
